Lightbulb How does Glumetza affect Low-Carb dieting?

Just started low-carbing to lose weight. I was diagnosed last year as Pre-Diabetic. After 6 months suffering from the severe side effects of metformin my doctor declared me intolerate to the drug and thankfully switched me to 1000mg of it's extended release version Glumetza. Now I'm curious, what exactly does Glumetza do when your body is in Ketosis? Does anyone have information about this?
