HI FOLKS...yes, SF has carbs but they are filled with the SA whichalthough are carbs they do not have a fast impact on BS which is why they are deducted the same as fiber. That is for a ketogenic life and not for DMl or II. Carbs regulate the bs..carbs DO turn into glucose as an effect when not used as fuel.. I had diet induced seizures thanks to the old NUTRA SYSTEM..cluster seisures and had to do the FS 4 times a day etc..wha fun until I could reguate my metobolic system. In those days my weight was about 170 at the most.
PAULETTE can chime in here with her education on the subject.

Myweight is stable and rings still tight. Was so hungry yesterday. Finally guzzzeled some HC and then was fine. I had a bag of caulitflower again w/ BG and parm /// I HAVE to finishe foods already frozen.Money is beyond tight so that is what will happen and I will juggle the NC and TC life as best as I can.Bet my math gets a lot better LOL!
TOday is the last weigh in for the start of the next game with the same weight. Today's chart will change to the new game after all weights in.
KATHY.. It was me that had he horses first..she gre up on my frm, so it is nice she has the same love.Carl had amazing horses as a kid so he is a huge help and does ride..not well, but well enough Jodi had a good shift. Her back is horrible again and she will see a neuro/spine specialist soon. I am sure it will be during the show season break over the winter!
DID mow and am hurting, so BBL...

Down .8 today, not enough to catch Chrissie, but I am happy with it.

Chrissie: You are rocking this week. You aren't a rocking horse though, you are a sleek, fast, race horse. Congrats!

Kosmo: Thank you for answering my question. I have never done net carbs, only total carbs, hence the confusion. Wow, your husband and your two sons all have type 1, that has got to be hard. I'm glad your hubby and one son realize what they need to do to help control their BS. Hopefully your other son will come around too.

Cricket: I sure hope you start finding some relief for your pain soon. And congrats to Jodi for being another lb down.

Kathy: I am always up for the spin in the convertible. I love it.

Paulette: Sorry no loss, but the same is always better than a gain.

Well I have no explanation for the big gain today! I FEEL smaller, measurements arent up, clothes fit fine, neither rings nor shoes are tight-- I had chia seeds yesterday, maybe they glommed a bunch of water as they are known to do and are holding it hostage in my gut until it all passes? Who knows..... Sorry to steal last place from you guys who were were vying for it!!!

I am bored e nought to think about joining a gym just to see PEOPLE. I was doing Planet fitness and did not like it much.Do not know about others, but t his one brings in pizza and sugar stuff. Not thrilled about using 2 gallons og gas for each visit either. Will have to think this over a lot.
Winter blues are hitting. I can't stand the cold here. Refuse to sit home and watch tv all day every day! I MISS WORK!

Tam.............07/11/15..........329.4........09/12/15.........294.6........34.8

No change for me today.

Sorry for the gain, Himi. I never ate chia seeds, but if they are similar to the chia pets, you may be growing something in your stomach that caused the gain.

Tam: Congrats on the loss of almost a pound. Even though you didn't win, you had a great loss this week.

Paulette: It sounds like your work is either feast or famine! I know how stressful it us to meet those deadlines, especially when everyone is pushing you. You are one of the greatest contributors to this team, so you never need to apologize when you don't have a lot of time to post. We all go through those times.

Chrissie is also doing great even though she is away. 4.3 lbs is a lot of weight to lose in one week at her current weight. Congratulations!

Brenda: Nice to hear from you and thanks for the recipe. I love garlic butter fish!

Kathy: Concert was great!!! That is the first one I wen to, but it won't be the last. Again, it is held in a small junior high school auditorium before they built the new middle school. They now use it for weekend movies, but it only holds probably 300 to 400 people. They've had Little River Band, Kenny Rogers, Wyonna Judd and Vince Gill in the past but I was usually busy or away and never had a chance to go. You have your assigned seats and we were in the second row of the middle section. Great seats and a great concert. Nice way to spend a Friday night with no traffic or crowds to fight.

Glad to hear Jodi is down a pound, but sorry to hear about her back trouble. Hopefully, it doesn't affect her riding!

Cricket: Hope you had a chance to rest after your mowing and are feeling better. Please don't overdo it. From the sounds of it, none of you are feeling 100%. Hope things get easier for you relative to your eating as you juggle between LC and TC. I'm going to try to take my lunch to work this week to see if that helps since our cafeteria choices sometimes don't offer LC options. The manager and many of the staff know how I'm eating so it's sometimes frustrating to not have any choices. If I plan better, I know that will help to eliminate the appetite and cravings.

I have my follow-up eye appointment tomorrow so I'm hoping I make out okay since we're leaving for our trip on Saturday. It seems better, but I still have the floater which I think my last for awhile.

My son was home this weekend but since he was busy with the wedding, I didn't get to spend much time with him. We did get to see him a few hours this afternoon, before he left. He had to head back tonight as both he and his girlfriend have to work tomorrow night.

I noticed that Tam's update was missing so I fixed it on my update. However, it looks like Himi also went in and fixed it.

I agree with you about the cold weather and the need to do something and see people. I complain about work, but I have worked all my life and I'm not sure how I would handle not working. We live in the country and, when I was off when having my kids, there were days I didn't even care if I showered or dressed...since I wasn't going anywhere. Not good!

The gym sounds good, but I would look for one that doesn't offer high carb food along with their membership!!

look for new thread!

Thank you all fr picking up the ball that I keep dropping. I have been going through old stuff packed into cabinets and these are texts from both of us
I decided to read 2 that I needed for one of my stupid degrees.80 hr credit courses in obesity and eating disorders and the other is lifetime weight control for counseling issues...ugh. I thought this was really stupid the first time around. All so commin snese, but WTH I have the books from the courses so I might as well read them again.
There is very limited choce of fitness placess..muscle bound men and twinkie chicks or this with state of the art stuff. I can walk past the stuff or hope they have gotten over this stuff!
It can wait unitil after eyesdone.
Barb.. sorry to tell you that the floaters will be with a olong time until they settle to the bottom.they are always there to one degree or another. Mine go from gone or so bad I swat at invisible gnats!
I apologize for my bad moods and do not mean to take it out on you. This is such a great and positive place that I feel I have dragged it down. I HAVE to stop that NOW!
Now to create the ew game with these weights and the same week schtick.
