Default Hello Everyone!

I thought I would "branch out" and read a few more of the boards that I fit into! I am fairly new to Low Carb (about a month) and started because my DH was diagnosed with diabetes... and I need to lose a lot of weight. We are now a Low Carb family.

I have a 21 month old son who still nurses at night. While we are not as strict with him on the carbs (he still has cheerios, trisquets, and the ever popular chicken nuggets) we have cut out a lot of the excess empty carbs and sugar. He *always* prefered to eat only his meat, and that is just fine with us! I suppose he will get the treats he loves now and again and at holidays, but since he is so young I am hoping he will not be as addicted to them! Now if only I could convince him to eat veggies and fruits!!! ARG!

I am also TTC right now, I am not going to worry about how to eat while I am pregnant until I found out I am! But I figure I will probably slowly add more carbs thru fruits and veggies... I am mostly concerned that I will have *bad* morning sickness during my entire pregnancy like last time, but they say each and every pregnancy is different! (lets hope)

I am so glad to see others that have young children as well! They definately present a challange at times! I still have not figured out a good time to exersize...
