i just feel really down that ive lost only 1 pound in four days when apparantly you can lose up to 7pounds in the first week. am i doing something wrong?

Did anyone else feel absoloutly nakard?!

Any info would help as i feel ready to throw the towel in if i dont lose any more by sunday xx

Hi Liz, welcome to the forum.

When Dr Atkins was alive a member of a different support forum asked a member of his staff what was a "normal" loss for induction.

She was told that a loss over the entire 2 weeks on induction of between 5% and 10% of the weight the body needs to lose would be considered "normal".

So someone with 200 pounds excess pounds who loses 10-20 pounds over those 14 days would be having a "normal" loss, and someone needing to lose 10 pounds who loses 8 ounces to one pound would also be having a "normal" loss.

How many pounds do you need to lose? What % of that loss does your one pound in only 4 days represent?

Lc eating is more a way of life...if your looking to take off a few pounds and go off lc it probably isnt the program for you...If you eat lc and take off a few pounds then stop lc you will most likely put it back on...

So you have lost about 16% of the total amount you want to lose in only 4 days!?!

Looks like excellent progress to me.
