Default spicy food, increase metabolism?

Hi all

has any one tried ingesting more spicy foods (sugar free of course!),
chilies , chili sauces, etc..

has it speeded up your metabolism, helped with speeding things up?

Dave

Jalapenos help me a lot. Firstly, you feel full sooner when eating something super spicy. And something spicy and acidic helps your stomach break the food down more quickly, apparently.

I eat a lot of hot foods - I put cayenne on just about everything - and haven't noticed any obvious effects on weight loss. Then again, I'm sure it can't hurt. I know spices have various health benefits - apparently they are great antioxidants, among other things. So eat up!

I also haven't noticed they do anything to my metabolism. I think it is wishful thinking.
