Swerve v's Erythritol (NOW foods)
After trying Splenda (YUK!) and a few other sweeteners/combination of sweeteners in my baking, I started using Swerve and really like everything about this product, except for the price.
The main ingredient in Swerve is Erythritol. It also has Oligo-saccharides.
I'm not sure what the ratio of Erythritol & Oligo-saccharides is but I am thinking that this product is mostly erythritol..
Erythritol (NOW foods) is considerably cheaper. I can buy 2.5 lbs of the straight Erythritol for less than the price of Swerve's 1 lb bag..
Does anyone know if there is a considerable difference in taste between Swerve & Erythritol by NOW Foods....
Are they basically the same product?
