Default Getting tested Saturday..

Hey everyone! I hope I get some answers on this part of the forum before Saturday. I have some symptoms of hypothyroid (depression, lethargy, very dry skin, sleepy, hard to lose weight, muscle aches in my legs (though I think that's LC related), coarse hair, etc.). Is there anything I need to do beforehand to prepare? Other than talking myself into giving blood ? Didn't know if maybe dietary changes would effect the diagnosis or anything. Thanks a bunch! And for those who do have hypothyroid.. how do you cope? What meds are you on, how much, how old, etc?

Nope, nothing to do ahead of time. You don't even need to fast. Just be sure to get a copy of your results.

I've heard about having to make sure they test for specific hormones or... whatever it is they test for.. And that some docs don't do them and some do?
