Default pork rinds?

Doe anyone know where I can buy pork rinds? Also, what brand is good? I am gluten free.

AZ, can you give me a brand name? Do you get them in a regular grocery store?

I've never thought of them or looked before, what section are they generally in?

Unless you get the BBQ flavor, then there is some sugar involved, but I don't eat that kind because of that fact. I like the spicy ones the best.

I would recommend "Rudolph's BBQ Pork Rinds" available at most of the larger Wal-Mart SuperCenters. Better than any I've had. I dip them in a nice spicy jalapeno sour cream dip.

I like Baken-ets and Mac brand the best. Zero carbs, gluten free like most (if not all) but some brands have a very hard rind attached. Some may like that but I don't care for them. The two brands I mentioned are constantly light and tender.

And yes, I find them in the chip aisle, but usually extreme bottom or top of the shelf. Grocery stores tend to put two things at eye level (1) the most profitable products and (2) the most commonly desired products.

I would guess in the case of pork rinds it's number (2)

Bob

I'm surrounded by asian grocery stores and they have a bunch. There's some that's kind of hard that it feels like I'm gonna break my teeth and some that basically like puffs of air with a crunch. I like the ones with fat attached the best. Yum. Also, there's flavored ones with additives so you should check the ingredients. I think it's minimal though unless you eat like 10 bags a day.

I like the puffs with a crunch. The hard "break your teeth" kind are not pleasant for me to eat.

I like Mac brand the best. In Alabama, all grocery and convenience stores sell pork rinds, but in my area only Wal-Mart sells Mac brand.
