Default Body Shapers

Quick and to the Point:

Does or has anyone worn a body shaper to help control the 'jiggling flab'?

If so:

1) What brand
2) What style
3) Your experience
4) Would you buy another one.

Thanks

Spanx the ones that go from thigh to just under the bra.

Yes, I found it helpful and have purchased again when mine has gone past its useful life span.

I don't always wear them, but for certain garments that like to show EVERY bulge, they're helpful. They're a confidence booster, fer sure.

Another spanx fan. I like the Power Panty - as described above it runs from the thigh to under the bust. I find it comfy - doesnt cut off circulation! Breathable and easy to wear. I wear them for certain outfits - smooth out the hips and waist. No panty line. They arent the cheapest version out there, but I have been happy with this product

I also have the Spanx Higher Power one. I like it since it helps deal with the upper part of my tummy (above my belly button) that some of the other styles that start at the waist don't. Putting it on is a bit like stuffing yourself into a small sausage casing....but once it's on it's fairly comfortable. I don't usually wear mine for more than a few hours though so I can't speak to its ease of bathroom use.

Thanks everyone. What do I want/need to control .... everything from the knees up <lol>

Melissa I so love the vision you instilled into my brain. I will write back after I have attempted to stuff myself into the casing!

For everything from the knee up, this one would be my suggestion:

http://www.spanx.com/product/index....rentPage=family

It goes down a little past the knee, but on me that prevents the telltale bulge on my thigh where the shaper ends.

I can't stand when a shaper rolls down on my torso, so I pull it up REALLY high and then put my bra on over it. That tends to keep it in place.

About the bathroom issue...forgive the TMI...but with the Spanx double-gusset crotch it's not difficult.

I find that most shapers are comfortable for about 8 hours or so, but start to get irritating after that.

Hope this helps!

What is a double-gusset crotch? Something that lets you pee without taking it off?

Yup, that's exactly right. Instead of just having one gusset, it has two that overlap and aren't fastened, so there is a convenient opening for bathroom time.

Our Costco sells these great Flexees Tank tops. The have great tummy control but then the fabric over the boobs is just a regular stretch so your breasts don't get all smooshed. Also, it has a section of fabric at the bottom that keeps the tank from riding up. It looks really cute as a layering piece and so comfy to wear!

Default What I ordered

So I didn't order a SPANX, and ordered this one for now....

http://www.herroom.com/Flexees-2556...f-Singlet.shtml

I have issue with 'loose' fat for the upper abdomen and having the bra roll up and wanted the strips at the top to hold it up.

Well see how it fits when I get it. I can send it back and go to Dillards to try the Spanx.

Lordy I am not liking this!!! Love the smaller bod..

I have the issue with them rolling down from below the bra. They end up bunched at my waist and I have a little more obvious muffin top. =( Maybe I should try the bra over trick.
