Default Montignac and milk

Montignac is all over the news in my part of the world these days.

Ever since he released is new book here, the media are all over him, accusing him to be against milk. I just saw him on an interview this morning; here is what he had to say.

Is book is talking about obesity and children. He still thinks that the main reason for obesity in children is because they eat food with high GI. But some research, show that eating way too much protein (5 times than what is recommended) might be contributing to building too much fat cells. That is only in children, not in adults. He still thinks that children must drink milk and that milk is a good thing for them. But, if your child is eating 5 times the recommended amount of protein, it might be wise to reduce his milk a little.

I just think our milk lobby went a little crazy as soon as they heard that one. They are in a middle of a campaign saying: One glass of milk is good; two is better. To them, reducing is just not acceptable.
