Two Months In!
I can honestly say, this has been easier than I thought and I truly believe this will be a long lasting life change for me. Unlike other "diets", I am not setting a 90 day goal or a quick loss plan. I understand that in order to change our bodies, a quick fix is NOT the way to go and we must have the mindset and habits that lead to that.
So here I am, 60 days in and a total of 13 pounds lost. I did not start out "huge" but had let myself go and was feeling a little doughy. Besides the weight loss, I definitely have more energy and am not as hungry as I was in the past, even skipping meals only because I wasn't hungry! On a bigger note, I actually lost weight on a week long, Florida vacation (that has NEVER happened). I basically stayed away from pastas, breads, sugars and processed foods and stayed active by bicycling, swimming and playing on the beach. And I never felt deprived or like I was missing out. We had some great seafood meals, bacon and eggs for many breakfasts, a healthy supply of fruits and nuts for snacks and lots of veggies.
