Default 80/20 Ground Beef at Trader Joe's

what do you pay for the 1 pound pkg of ground beef at your Trader Joe's?
I went for it today and found that the only TJ's in TN sells the one pound pkg for $3.49 per pound.
In San Fran, on Bay Road in downtown SF, I pay $1.99 per pound.

Is there really that much of a difference between states?
What do you pay?

It's about $2.50 in both Maryland and Ohio.
