I came here!! I am currently doing Atkins (which I pretty much did anyway since I couldn't stick to Kimkins for more than a few days) and feel great! I missed all that yummy fat LOL! I did KK for a while too but it was really really a bad idea for me (former anorexic with cardiomyopathy). Glad I started hearing things and shook that sucker loose.

I didn't know that very low calorie could trash your thyroid. I didn't know that you should always up your fat when you lower your carbs (you can lower fat if only lowering calories). Thank heavens for smart people here!

I am glad you said about the Greyhounds, I thought you were addicted to McDreamy and McSteamy!

Barb, I posted this on KK after Tippy made a strange comment in the "controversy surrounding the red dress" thread. I had just had it with them!



Too much controversy surrounding the red dress???? Are you kidding me??? Why not fix this then????? There should be NO controversy!!! FIX THIS by proving what is real! I don’t understand what the problem is. If the picture is Kimmer then PROVE IT! Why all the secrets, changes, drama, and lies??? WHY??? I have been around since the beginning on LCF. I was one of the first 20 members of Kimkins when all was hailed…”isn’t it nice to be on a site where you can speak freely and not have PM’s read and posts changed/deleted” WTF? This place is worse than LCF EVER was. What is wrong with you crazy people?? This is a nut house now. I can’t believe what has happened to this place. I feel so sad for the members who don’t understand that all of this change is a horrible sign. I am so sad it has come to this.

I am so sorry you have dealt/deal with anorexia! I have one close person in my life who I believe is anorexic and 2 who have bulimia (sp?) It is so hard because they just won't take any help and won't admit they have a problem. Hats off to you for trying to get better and be healthy! I know how hard it can be....

It's before my time, but from everything I've read, it sounds like KK did a lot of damage to a lot of people.

I was banned from LCf. Boo-Hoo! Their loss! I have heard of Kimkins but it was too strict for me to stick with. I hope I have better luck here!

I asked them to delete my account over there. I hate that forum.

I agree there is way too much drama over there and the owners do nothing to stop it. The owner tried to keep me there when I requested that I wanted my account deleted so I had to tell her twice to delete it.
Being here, in this forum, is way better.

I lurk at LCF. I post a bit on the fascination thread, but that's it.
