I knew it was a whoosh! I have seen it do this before so I know it will prolly bounce back up a few times before it settles at 142. I am counting down from 10....9....(I better be quiet before SB stops working or the whoosh fairy hears me!) LOL!

Judy - is 8 pounds is 6 weeks considered slow? It's really quite acceptable considering what happened last year! If it will just keep going!

GMMD - I promise I am sending the whoosh fairy to your house in a few more weeks. She and I need to get reaquainted since she skipped me last year!

No, I don't think its slow at all...but I also know how impatient you are. You do seem to be learning this though.

It'll keep going but I promise you that you will not loose another 8 lbs in the next 6 week. IMO, its a take whatever you get and be grateful for it.

I needed to see this. This is day 7 of phase one and i was upset about only losing 2 pounds. (TOM is just about here ~ it's trying to make an appearance anyway.) THANK YOU!

Oh... and it's been a while, but congrats LOL.

Talking

Yes - it has been slow Judy and Sheila! LOL! But I think I can lose 4 more pounds by Christmas! Seriously! Maybe this New Year's Eve, for my pic, I will pose the same way and it will actually be noticeable. Most people only see the 14 pounds I have lost in my face.

Who knows....maybe by Feb 12 of 2011, I will be 2 pounds under goal and then I will have lost that extra 20 pounds completely. I am happy where I am at, content, knowing I can easily maintain here AND have those carbs (AND have some alcohol!) I have said it before, but it was truly always the fly in my ointment on Atkins as my body could not process the alcohol plus all that fat and protein too. Atkin's taught my body to "convert all carbs over 20 to fat" in my opinion. Now I am at 80 carbs (on weekends way more!) and still have not gained AND I have not counted the first carb this year!

(Are you proud of my patience yet Judy? See, grasshoppa did hear you! But, I am still a hare by nature so must resist the urge to "do domething NOW - something DRASTIC!" each and everyday of my life.)

Slow and steady really does win the race after all....now if I will just remember this because I still have a definite tendency to pray for that whoosh fairy! Where the #%$~ is she anyway???
