Default Hello from a new member

Good Morning and hello from MN. I just began seriously watching my carb intake, mainly due to diabetes and my weight. I have an issue with swelling in my legs and feet and wear compression stockings to alleviate the swelling, but low carb intake helps considerably. I would love to meet some others with similar concerns and would love recipes/suggestions for tasty meals and treats. I am widowed, live alone and struggle in cooking for one with "common ingredients". Looking forward to meeting others to help me be successful.

Looking around the forum, would someone tell me about CAD and CALP. Are these books and if so where can I purchase? Thanks!

Hi Gail, welcome. There's a huge selection of recipes here in the Kitchen/Recipes section. I enjoy browsing them and have made yummy recipes from here over the years.

CAD & CALP are both books. I recently saw them on Amazon for a good price. Not sure if you can find Ebooks for those.

Good luck w/ your new way of eating. I love the way low carb makes me feel!
