I am staying on my induction plan good so far. This is day five on it.
I did have a bad upset stomach for a couple of days but am better today. Don';t know if its the change in my diet or what .
Did it do that to you when you first began?
I am strickly following induction and eating only what is on its list. I have it taped to my fridge so I can see it everyday so I won't eat something I am not suppose to eat.
I have been eating alot of salads so that may be what is tear up my stomach, the lettuce I mean.
I am sure I am following induction right.

Hi ladies,

I'm new to this site. I've been reading some of your past posts and would love to join in. I'm 56 and been LCing on and off for many years. I just recently reread the Atkins book because my weight loss has always been very slow. I now realize that I was not eating enough fats. For the last week, I have been trying to fix this. I been eating cream cheese, whipping cream, sour cream, and just added coconut oil (4tsps a day). I've have lost 2lbs. so far. Do any of you use the coconut oil? I am confused about how many grams of fat I need a day. I try to keep my carbs below 20 and I would say I eat probably 80-100 grams of protein a day. I don't count calories but maybe I should. Please let me know what you think.

As far as a little about myself. I am married with one grown daughter. We used to have a peekapoo but have no pets anymore. I work at home doing transcription for an attorneys office. I play bridge with a great group of ladies and am in a book club at our art museum.

I don't tell people about doing Atkins anymore; the response is not usually supportive. I'm so glad to have found this forum to speak with people who get it.

Abby
