Default Ten Days Abstinent!

I am feeling the joy of achievement circling the number 90 on my countdown chart to 100 days of abstinence! The first days are definitely adjustment days. Where am I unrealistically demanding too much? In what ways could I do more? Now the food scale and not the human scale is my go-to and so is the daily online food counter. NEVER do I feel like walking but I have done it daily for half an hour and always am glad it's OVER and I won over inertia. My carbs are steadily under 50 but I am eating a balanced diet, my goal and my doctor's instructions. She said low carb is the way to lose the weight but no carb at least for me would not be advisable.
Anyway, ten days on the wagon and a tenth of the way to my primary goal. The other day I took the three taunting bags of popcorn back to the store and got my money back even without a receipt! So much for THAT temptation.
What I like here is we are all traveling the same path each with a different stroll, run, skip, crawl, bounce and when we share, I feel good. Have a marvelous Thursday and a healthy one at that.

Good for you. So you're up to 12 days now?

I've always found momentum to be my best friend on this WOE. Starvation dieting always got harder as I went along and my white-knuckling resolve wore thin, whereas eating LC gets easier for me. I feel better, and junk food will hurt more. Heh.

I'm amazed at you returning the popcorn to the store.
You're a great example and an inspiration to me.

I decided to start a countdown too. 100 of eating the burger and not the bun.

Correction to my calendar: I didn't have ten days, I had twelve! I don't know how I was off but anyway, today I am starting on Day 15 and have 14 days clean. Yesterday I bought motivational stickers and had fun putting them on my calendar. (I redid the calendar and made it go to 183 days or about six months from starting date of Aug 20 and then I got tired of making the calendar...arbitrary goal day but hey, half a year. So it's either 169 or 86 or 14... it's PROGRESS.
