Question Software

I am trying to find a software package where I could enter what I had eaten each day and the software would calculate the carbs, calories, fat, etc., for each item. I would also like for it to keep track of my weight and daily exercise.

Has anyone seen such a product?

Many of us use Fitday to do just that. It is an online program that is free. I keep track of my food, weight, exercise and dietary goals. The address is:

Fitday

Cool hi Zip, welcome aboard

Yes, fitday.com is a popular (and free as Nat pointed out) online dietary tracker .... It is quite versatile ... you can set your own nutritional goals (unlike some sites I've seen which send out alarms if your fat intake goes over what THEY think you should have) .. as well, there's an exercise and activity tracker ... that will calculate how many calories you burn.

If you want something pocket-sized to carry with you, so that you don't have to be on the computer to use it ... you might consider Nutricounter .. http://www.lowcarb.ca/store/tools.html .. It will also let you track goals, etc ..

Why not pop up into our Introductions forum and say hello! Lots of folks waiting to meet you. You might also want to keep a journal in our Bootcamp forum ... so we can all help you along the way.

Look forward to more posts from you

Doreen

What I love about fitday is the neat graphs that track your weight change over time. I think it's better than any software you could buy. (and you can't beat free!)
