Hi!

Hang in there, Atkins works!! I lost 30 lbs last years but then back-slid, so I'm starting over with a vengeance.

Sexymommy2,

On another thread using coconut oil, you can try this also for the fiber part,

TRY this,

Vanilla Protein shake with coconut oil and coconut milk (you could also use cream with water), water, pysillium husks, with a touch of vanilla.

Kills two birds with one stone, coconut oil and fibre. When blended it tastes like a milkshake...

Try it and let me know what you think.

My understanding is that in the US, the nutritional information is calculated by subtracting the protein and the fat and anything left is regarded as carbs, regardless of what they may actually be, fiber or alcohol sugars or whatever, therefore the difference between say, English and American package listings. The English take the fiber out of their carb calculations .
