Hi, I have been eating low carb for several years now and feel great. Basically, I don't eat wheat of any kind, no whole grains, pasta, or cereals. I have ups and downs and haven't followed this perfectly but it's the healthiest way to feed your body.
I eat tuna with mayo, and red peppers or celery., avocados, walnuts, almonds, other nuts, all veggies, eggs, salmon, occasionally a burger or beef but that's because I never was much of beef eater. I have cream in my coffee. Sometimes I'll have a half banana, pineapple, apples dipped in peanut butter., berries, plain greek yogurt with a bit of splenda is also good. There is so much more.
The key is to avoid wheat like the plague. Also research it on your own. Dr Davis is a cardiologist who believes in low carb. You can read the Heart Scan blog without becoming a member of Track Your Plaque and get lots of good information.
