Do you concern yourself with sodium intake? I know you shouldn't go wild with salt, but is it a real concern?

I don't concern myself with salt intake. I keep it real salty. This might not be for everyone tho especially if you have a medical condition and lowering your sodium intake would be beneficial. Both sides of the salt debate have good arguments.

When I have heard both sides of the story I'm convinced there is a 3rd - plus low carbing at first can have a diuretic effect and you might need some replacement salt and potassium from all the water you might loose at first. Some say it cures the side effects of changing to low carb, called keto flu or something. I never experienced it but maybe that's cause I've always ingested a lot of salt ? who knows, I certainly don't.

You will do well!

I eat as much salt as I want too.
In fact I have bacon and salt on my eggs every day and add salt as needed to all of my foods.

As long as your kidneys and heart are fine, you should not worry and as Thud said, we loose a lot of our electrolytes when doing Low-carb because of fat loss and the fluid that
must go with it.
