Default Well, I kinda blew THAT (Easter indulgence)

oops. I stayed out of the kids' easter baskets except for ONE delightful little Purdy's egg (10 g. carbs). Then, in a desire to make myself feel like I was getting a sweet treat, I made an Atkins friendly (cream cheese based) dessert. Then I had a couple of drinks and remember now WHY that is a bad idea. Had a couple more scoops of cream cheese, and several slices of ham that had been glazed in mustard and brown sugar. Lesson learned - if I have "fake" sweet treats to satisfy the sweet tooth, it just makes me want MORE sweet taste. Hopefully I haven't set myself back too far!

That's my experience too. I keep hoping I can have a low carb dessert (they look SO good) but every time I do I set myself up for sweet craving for a week. Or I don't just crave, I give in and then it's another few days before I get back in control. In fact I'm battling that now after "tasting" a favorite dessert I made for my kids. Here's hoping you can stay on plan this week and get back to clean eating!
