OK.. I LIED. I READ.... love ya all to not read.
General post here.. congrats of eating well, great on the nw kitchen HIMI! ENJOY!!! I happen to dilute the 1% Ivermectin for the dogs to use for hearworm. SO, Bonnie will get weighed and will get onplan as well. Is it once monthly for them as well??? How can that work on flea??? does not work for dogs that way. I am sure it would be a good idea against the heart worm though but have to say I would worry if she already has them and this would cause a heart block..hmmm... have to decide on this stuff and I THANK you for this really good advice.

Regarding my conflicting reports... I can read a 12 lead ekg. It is normal. I even took out my calipers!! DID my time as a cardiology clinical nurse in ICU.HAVE to love education. As for the enlarged heart.. it made some sense to show an enlarged or thickened wall in my chamber since I did have a history of HTN. THIS would not show in an exray, but fact remains that my heart is not enlarged per se I have no S/S of any cardilogy compromise so I am not worried. I MIGHT had a bicuspid not tricuspid aortic valve..inconclusive n the echo and will not allow a TEE.AGAIn, I will ASSUME the worse and protect for it. Nothing surgical or chemical to be done for that anyway. I beleive my dad had this so it may be chronic and I could not care less. I have had more major surgeries than I can count on both hands and have managed to survive them all! I know I have to ask for my profanol ( milk of amnesia) from the anestheilogist. Is the best drug but have to remind them to add lidocaine since it does burn like hell when first instilled.. yes, I will be knowcked out FAST but not before I register the pain! I always feel sorry for any new medical professional that has to deal with me.

BARB... I was married the first time on Memorial Day May 30th and thought was a good idea. WELL, it still was... now there is a parade to celebrate the fact I am not with that jerk

NOW.. I want honest answers from all of you about how you feel about my thoughts and plans. I need feed back not YESS MAM answers. I thought since I am trying to begn this new plan I would begin with the new weigh in for game 15 and count that as my nw totals and go from there. I think I can get along with this plan and hope it can get along with me. I just do not know. KATHY.. unlike you, I DO usually prefer meats to veggies but I have noticed that this has begun to change. IF I can keep the NC around 15 and then use 1nother 5 for other items then I may be able to live with this.
While I am off this computer, and in the bedroom, Jodi will also not be charted in here. SHE WILL resucme her plan though and stay pretty much on course as she is able to aside from the sh or dates. Ont hsoe dates, there is no food available there other than fast foods and usually the folks call in for pizza at night. She brings Atkins bars to have though and drinks lots of water not soda.She is on the run the entire time, and with 2 high strung beasts there I have no idea how she will manage it. I can only HOPE that one of her clients will be a round to help her.
Just what I need to be concerned about!!
My grandson ;leves for college on the 22nd.everything happens at the same time.
AND here I am rambling. DInner tonight will be who the hellknows what. For the next week it is good luck and best wishes. I do know that tomorrow is pizza for dinner at the motel. As it happens I am not a big fan right now of that and the thought is a turn off. I feel bloated and full and have no clue how that can be withthis stupid drop in weight.
I will ot be sirprised to see 155 wehn I get back on Tues.I hope for under 140!
I do not have Kathy's metabolism and wish I did!!

Alrighty then. I updated my total losses. And I have remained stable today, so no changes for the weekly chart.

Oh CRICKET. I really hope this surgery goes well for you. I get nervous when they put people under. Ed had a bad episode once and now it scares me. It sounds like you have everything under control. I hope Carl takes good care of you and remembers to pick up after himself. ----- I understand you wanting to do a diet change-up, especially since you seem to have a meat aversion lately. What in the world are you going to substitute for protein? Powder? Do you still like eggs? Are you considering yogurt or cottage cheese, too? Or are you going to use something else for protein? I am very curious. God, I could not live on vegetables. The thought sickens me as much as meat does to you right now. So good luck with that! Since you will be convalescing the next couple weeks, I think it is best to eat light stuff. I don't think pork steaks and sauerkraut would be a great idea.

I have been awful busy today and it is not done yet. I have another job to start on now and I don't want to spend all night on it, so I must get to work. I hope to stop back in a while to see how everyone else is doing. I hope we can see a loss!

Waiting for carl and stopped in the room..Pauletticusie...protein may well be in the form of the shake. I need fluids and it has no SA.cals are not bad and I add HC so good for the needed fats.Not having the cheese other than cream cheese.Eggs...ok but not thrilled. Would rather drink my way through the protein. I am not worried abaout loss of muscle due to low proteins.By the time that would be an issue i will be a size 4! I HOPE I return to my normal state of carnivore.I still do not know if the slalds will agree with my GI issues. It used to give me heart burn.

CHRISSIE...HI YA and congrats on that loss! NICE GOING.

I too am not thrilled with anesthesia at all.Would rather be asleep though! The older we get the more S/E they have. post anesthesia psychosis occurs after 65 a lot! I am 69 Oh well. May not notice if i am nuts anyway That is one major reason for profanol.OUT fast and awake fast and without S/E that I have ever witnessed.
So, off I GO! SE ya whenever my friends.

CRICKET: If you're still on, here's wishing you the best of luck and I will certainly keep you in my thoughts and prayers that your surgery is smooth and you have a quick recovery. You are a no-nonsense, determined woman and you will do great! Relative to your diet, I haven't been doing this as long as you, but I truly believe that you sometimes have to change things up a little to get the losses moving again. Then get back on the plan (foods) that normally works for you and start the scales moving downward!

Under the circumstances, I see no problem with you starting with your new weight when you return. You are working to get the lbs off just like the rest of us, but you've hit a few hurdles and unusual circumstances lately due to no fault of your own. Therefore, start Game #15 with whatever weight you are when you get back.

PAULETTE: Don't feel bad about maintaining today. After your losses, you did well to maintain.

CHRISSIE: Glad to see you lost 1/2 lb. My husband's name is Bob. We have all of our special events in October as his birthday is also in October (29th). It is so nice of you to keep track of this for everyone.

Cricket, for when you can read this --- as far as I know, rabbits dont get heartworm-- its never been a worry. Ivermectin is good for many parasites, internal and external, on many species (its used on humans here and especially in developing countries)-- Almost any "bug or worm" that chews or eats skin or blood of an animal will get affected by a treatment of ivermectin. Its not necessary monthly-- you can treat, then repeat in 10 days to get any new hatches, then dose as needed. Often with rabbits, the itchies are fur mites. If ivermectin doesnt work, revolution for kittens is safe for rabbits (same dosage as for a kitten) for treating fleas.

A 1.4 lb whoosh this morning! my stableness of yesterday was building up.

It's great to see that everyone had a good day yesterday, weight wise.

PAULETTE: You go, girl! You are doing great and are almost in a new decade. Hope Ed made out okay at his doctor's appointment and is feeling better.

KATHY: You just had a tiny blip and are still in range. However, thanks for spending time with me on the swing! I was getting tired of the see saw.

CHRISSIE: Great job with getting back on track. If I start to deviate from plan, it sometimes takes me awhile to get back on it. It seems like you are doing fine and doing what you need to do.

HIMI: You are still losing! Great job. Hope you are getting your kitchen back to normal.

Thinking of CRICKET and JODI. It won't be the same without her here for a few days.
