I play golf. Golf requires you to be ‘out there’ for 4.5-plus hours.

I don’t eat breakfast when I play. I take either nuts, string cheese, or an Atkins bar. I think I can do better. Anyone have ideas? I’d sure appreciate it, thanks!

I love nicks sticks (you can find on amazon for a description), or make your own jerky (garlic, black pepper, bit of liquid smoke can give you really nummy jerky without the sugars they seem to think we all have to have on our beef/turkey jerky...).

Consider "muffins" or mini frittatas - there are a ton of recipes out there for breakfast "muffins" (which just call snack muffins..lol) and frittatas. I make one with kale and goat cheese that is awesome, it's really anything you like that will fit with your particular diet. Very portable, but obviously you'd have to have a small cooler or just have one before you start play, and then used the nicks sticks (or one of several other companies that make a sugars/low carb version).

Thanks! I make crustless quiche alla time, never thought to make it into muffins for a take-along.
