Default im coming back!

hello to everyone! i am so excited to be back on your site as an actual member this time. off and on for the last decade or so i would browse your inspirational stories and take what information i could to apply to my own life.

Long time binger here. still havent addressed why i do that. but food makes me happy and maybe simply thats all there is to it.

Have battled alcohol abuse as well. and besides the calories consumed there, in itself, i am aware it makes it easier for me to cheat with my eating also.

I have gone back and forth between low calorie, low carb, just plain not eating, and then bingeing. nothing works because i cant commit to anything for more than a week. but that all changes today. i am ready to make the lifestyle changes and hopefully get some support along the way.

looking forward to making some friends and getting my life back. thanks everyone for reading!

Well, since you spent time lurking, you already know you're in the right place and you are welcome.

Are you doing Atkins 1972? Lots of us are. Just stay away from processed food, even if it says it's LC. Eat real food. That's a big step.

I also encourage you to make the decision (which you can) to stay on plan, minute by minute. There's a new journalist here who calls her journal Every Damn Day I love that. It's very wise. It's easy to give up if we want to, but I have to recommit every. damn. day.
