I want to start this diet again. I had some carbs this morning, part of a biscuit and some hashbrowns. Maybe the rest of the day will be better!

Welcome back. Hope you have better luck this time around. When did you last try, and what caused you to wander away from low carb? If you have an idea of what your last problem spots were you should be able to develop strategies to deal with them.

Welcome back.

We all do things differently, but when I decided to come back I planned my return for several weeks. I re-read the Atkins book, I read Gary Taubes again. I got rid of all the carby food in the house (gave my husband a box and said "eat it if you want"), I looked up recipes and thought about meal plans, I got a new scale and a new tape measure, and then had a long, serious, talk with my husband about exactly how he could support me. I also got a new doctor who supported this way of eating (WOE) and got lab work done so we had a starting point.

Then I chose a date and ate 20 carbs that day. And I haven't looked back. Maybe you can look through journals and see what others have done to start their journey. We all have different methods, but I think I profited very well from all the pre-planning.

Hey there, strategies would be good, as would reading and getting rid of carby food. Today, so good so far. Thanks, and more to come!
