Good video. I don't quite agree with her that everyone's different and we all need different diets. The evidence is on the side of low carb, though I agree that some people can get away with high carb without a problem.

The first US Dietary Guidelines were published in 1980. The pyramid didn't come out until 1992.

I remember "the 4 food groups" or was it 5? That came out in the 1960's about the time of duck 'n cover, CD drills and bomb shelters.

I remember the 4 Basic Food Groups in the 1950's, along with those duck and cover bomb drills in case the Russians invaded America.
