Would it be possible to include another option in the drop down list so that checked ingredients can be taken to the next day. I realise the problem with this would be which meal to add it to but even if it is added to some default meal, say breakfast, we can always change it using the move to lunch/dinner options. This would make things a lot easier when I'm eating the same thing many days in a row or leftovers.

Have you tried making those ingredients into a custom meal or custom recipe? The ingredients in a custom meal can be changed as needed.
Just a thought.

Oops. By "custom meal," I meant "bulk entry."
Sorry. Bulk entries can be one meal - that is what I meant - or a whole day's worth.

Well I could do that but this would make things easier. But I understand if you don't want to clutter up the interface.

Default tab for diabetics

Can you make a tab or section in the daily summary that has a diabetic log book type entry. An important part of my diabetes action plan is to record my blood sugars. I know there are many formats but dr bernstein has an extensive one and it includes excercise and carbs maybe we could take only the blood sugar part plus medication taken
time:
blood sugar:
meds:
I t would be valuable to be able to see a graph of the blood sugars and or a monthly view. Thanks RACHAEL

There's a tab in progress charts for health stats, which has a daily blood glucose reading
http://forum.lowcarber.org/myplan.p...edithealthstats

But it doesn't have time/meds entry though, yet

I have done a search and don't know if this is available. Is there a way to add fiber supplements such as phsyllum husk as that affects your fiber count?

This has probably been discussed. Can I enter atkins products? I can't seem to pull them up by name in the drop menu. I would like to add my advantage bar and shakes, etc.

I also second being able to enter by ounces.

Thanks!

Default Print Option Update

I know there were requests in 2005 for a PRINT option for recipe section. Has that been developed?

Items such as Atkins products need to be entered as custom items.

If you use the drop down menu (beside the "100 grams") you will see that ounces are an available option.

You will need to enter psyllium husks as a custom item. You can find information about their nutritional content here: http://www.calorieking.com/foods/ca...VtIGh1c2tz.html

Would it be possible for the daily summary to show total sodium intake? I notice the data is listed for foods that are found via the "search foods" function. Or is the daily total already available to me somewhere and I just don't know how to find it?

It's important for me to keep track of my daily sodium intake.

TIA for any help you can offer.

Yes, the daily total is available when you click on the "Totals" link
