AND I am UP 1 lb this morning.
Hmmm. Whatever. Oh I wish I could start losing again. The lb I lost last week is now gone again. I am just hovering around the same numbers over and over. So I will set a reasonable goal of 2 lbs this week and hope for the best.
CRICKET - I hope you have luck this week and lose mucho weighto. Are you going to fast today? Just water? And for the whole 24 hrs? I wish I could do that, but alas, I cannot.
KATHY - Today is the start of your days off, no? And who is this girl on Atkins doing fast after fast you speak of? Is it who I am thinking of? If so, I always thought her style was very bizzaro. Totally unsustainable. And she would go on "re-feeds" where she ate pizza toppings of all things. Not a very healthy diet!!!! Seemed to negate everything she was fasting for. Wow. I don't care how desperate I am to lose weight - it is not worth that type of thing. I am trying to make this a livable eating plan. I would LOVE to see weight fall off a little faster, but I 'spose I shall lose more eventually.
At least I am not starving myself!
I was doing a lot of reading on that "starvation mode" fallacy. I truly don't believe in it. I DO believe in adaptive thermogenesis where your metabolism slows
to a degree while dieting. That is acceptable and realistic, but this myth where you stop losing and start gaining when in "starvation mode" is such BS. How stupid. I mean, if this were the case, no one would die of starvation and there would be only fat anorexics.

Today I am having a burger patty and bacon & eggs later on. My calories will be 1210. Sodium low. I would add some cheese to my patty and bring the cals up to 1300, but for some reason I just want a plain burger. I want to taste the meat.
That's my plan and I' stickin' to it!
