I decided I liked the bigger pix better ... sometimes you can't see the details in a smaller size pic. The little pics are good for gym stuff or music but the pics I take on walks, I want to see them better....A carpet of creeping phlox...

I never tire of Hellebores... they pop up in the snow in January and keep going thru spring...

This was a Cat walk for sure.... the 1st kitty lounging in his yard...

Modest Vinca showing herself...

Spring bells and a pyrecantha along a white picket fence...

Delicate strawberry blossoms...

Pinks are flirts....

Kitty looks slightly perturbed at being interrupted in his evening routine...

We are dismissed...

Wisteria keeping to itself behind a fence...

I thought these are called spring beautys but not sure...

Pretty yellow trumpet vine running down the steps...

Heavenly scented large petalled jasmine...

The dogwood flowers over my head...

An antique dog ornament on a fence....

This kitty ran out to greet us and insisted on being petted and admired...

My friend worked from home Mon/Tues, and I seem to be sick with a bad chest cough.
Tue Apr 10 - 55 min walk around neighborhood right before sunset
Cheery bluebells standing up straight...

Pink Azaleas are next door neighbors to the bluebells...

Gorgeous pink Azaleas - they almost look like a lily...

Some very happy, healthy violets growing in an opening of a hedge...

Soft lavendar clematis...

These characters were enthusiastically defending their yard..there was a 3rd dog, but he was out of frame...

Such beautiful irises...

Another stunning iris...

I took this kitty's picture when I was here 3 years ago...he's still around and still friendly...

An entire "wall" of lacy flowers thru an old but charming fence...

I don't know if this is plum or crabapple, but it has a very pretty color...

I passed this rose bush on my way home and took a walk specifically to find and photograph this rose...it was so beautiful...

I really loved the way this trumpet vine cascaded down this fence...

Pink dogwood!!!

Sticking this pic here: a very short walk Apr 11
Such a feminine perfect pink rose...

Thu Apr 12 - - 20 min elliptical, 20 min treadmill at friend's work gym

Sun Apr 15 - 1 hr 25 min walking around cemetery, rainy but nice
Love that this old house is getting rennovated into a single family home...

It had just rained so this pastel iris was soaked...

These little clover flowers seemed to be calling out for attention: "Hey! We're flowers too!"

Pretty orange flowers...

Beautiful peach colored rose...

Pretty flower beds planted on graves at the Oakland Cemetery...

Peony buds getting ready to open alongside a stone...

The snowiest white snowball bush hanging over some stones...

It got very windy, roses blown about...

A couple of birds, including a cardinal in the trees...

The visitor booth with hanging canes of climbing roses...

Very wet but lovely pink roses...

Wet and windy it is...say the roses...

Decorative gate to a plot...

Red tulips randomly coming up in a grown-over area...

Tues May 15 - 10 min Twister Board, 15 min dancing to Pandora dance station and You Tube.

Rhianna and Donel The Voice UK - Rain
Wed May 16 - 1 hr 30 min walking around neighborhood and Oakland Cemetery
Sexy white/pink foxgloves (digitalis) whispering their secrets over the fence...

A quaint cobblestone alleyway nearby...

I associate Amaryllis with holidays but I love to see them planted and happy anywhere...

Loved the color combo of the melon-y pink roses and blue hydrangea...

These content mallow flowers were swaying in the breeze...

A yucca! ...tall and towering...

Now there is a gorgeous fuchsia gladiolus making a statement!...

I never tire of the delicate blue on hydrangeas...

I loved that they planted all different color daylilies along this fence...

My favorite in the bunch- blush pink against a light grey worn wood fence...

Showy Oakleaf Hydrangeas with their pollen falling everywhere...

Some of the more recognizable mausoleums in the cemetery...

I've taken pix of this window last time I was here...

This magnolia bud is growing on a tree in the Confederate Soldiers section of the cemetery...

Striking small red lilies near some lamb's ears...

Lighting was set up along the walkways for an upcoming event...

Frilly pink mini roses stretching over the storm grate...

Beautiful yellow cactus blooms in a bowl of succulents...

Water feature with koi...

This is a plot over and up - doesn't it look like a house in a neighborhood with a yard? Shrubs, fence, hydrangeas...

Pillar monument bordered by pretty Stella D'Oros lilies...

Littlest Angel monument framed by the snaky tree branch overhead...

Walking home from the cemetery, I see another Amaryllis planted on the corner with bright yellow Stella D'Oros...

Cascades of sweet-smelling jasmine on this trellis...

The sweet-peas are speaking.... listen to them...

Thu May 17 - 20 min walk around neighborhood, chased back by a thunderstorm
The neighbor's magnolia tree in bloom...

Bright patch of lilies...

Spray of white flowers with blue delphiniums looking on...

I was the tallest in my class....

Colorful cutting flowers... with a bright pink zinnia in the middle...

A perfect planted bouquet of yellow and white yarrow...

Now bachelor's buttons take me back...I was given my own little patch of garden up front next to the real flower beds and I planted zinnias, calendula, marigolds and bachelor's buttons...I remember being as young as 5 or 6 with those kid-sized garden tools you could buy...

Camera? Somebody's got a camera?? Coreopsis are camera-ready...

Are these bright yellow coreopsis the cheeriest things you ever saw against that bright blue house?

Beautiful pink roses...

Little spritely impatiens on blue porch steps...

Here is a kitty patiently waiting for his someone at the top of those blue steps...

Fri May 18 - 20 min
Twister Board to You Tube and Pandora Dance station

Rhianna Aubrey - Anywhere

Our Lips Are Sealed

Sat May 19 - 40 min walking a self guided art event held in the cemetery, it was my B-day
Beautiful displays of Magnolia leaves and white roses... these wreaths had smoky mirrors in the middle - and it had just rained, so there were raindrops on them... very etheric looking which was perfect for this event...

Not feeling well early in the week.
Thu May 24 - 15 min of A Morning Cup of Yoga

Sticking this pic in here...perfect gardenia flower...

and the chickens on the back lot behind the house...

Fri May 25 - 20 min of A Morning Cup of Yoga

another pic I took of neighborhood white kitty today, orange cone to cordon off parking - they were filming a commercial next door...

Sat May 26 - 1 hour walk w/friend at the cemetery, they are open after dark for the week of the art event - exhibits are still up...
Yellow lilies still bright in the dusk light...

Dusk blue-glow hydrangea...

Some white lilies graveside...

"Bed" like graves planted, adult and child sized... with downtown Atlanta in the background, sun going down...

A very formal pillar monument with an angel on top and on the sides...

It was getting pretty dark but this angel was still worth photographing..

Child statue on a monument with the Gibbous moon overlooking the cemetery... I wonder if this is a likeness of the deceased...

Another tall monument next to this very large mausoleum...

Here is the big mausoleum...

I was surprised to see all the cactus in the front of the plot...

Lighted pathways thru the cemetery... it really was cool to be able to ramble around in the cemetery after dark. We were quiet because we went off the event paths to explore a bit...

total: only 1 hr 35 min this week...
