I am choosing to start Summersizing. I stumbled on a video and then checked out a couple of books.

This forum helped me with accountability a couple of years ago, but I just can't seem to do Adkins again. SS looks like it is life liveable and healthy.

Are there some success stories with SS?

I need some encouragement!!

Hi Karen, nice to meet you!
Look at AZDean's journal. He has done fantastic, losing 60 pounds so far I think. For me it has been slow, but I am losing. The best thing is that I don't feel deprived of an entire food group like on Atkins, and I don't feel like I am eating fake food like Weight Watchers. I really like Somersizing.

Smile Welcome Karen!

I love Somersizing and have been able to stick to it pretty well for 10 months now. I lost 20 pounds in the first couple of months and have kept it off all this time. I fluctuate some, but it's easy to get back to the plan if I slip off a bit because it's such a broad set of stuff you can eat. I rarely crave something I can't have.

I particularly like all the recipes in Suzanne's books. When I start to stagnate there is always something new I can try to get me interested again. And it's pretty easy to eat out without anyone knowing you're doing anything special, too.

Give it a try, I think you'll enjoy it!
