Why don't you do an internet search of companies selling essential oils in Australia. People from UK and Canada were finding difficulties finding it too and I found companies in their countries.

since i posted i have been searching more and i suspect that we call it something different here - the herb seems to be marjorum but haven't found marjorum oil. but i am not confident i have the right herb.

on a brighter note, a search on Origanum vulgare has yielded a result or two but nothing that i can use.

i will keep plugging away at google until i find something!

Is Marjorum the same as Marjoram? I always thought Marjoram and Oregano were 2 different herbs from the same family, but you could be right, i also found reference to them possibly being considered the same herb.

Was just wondering the same thing! I haven't had any luck in Melbourne CBD. Did anybody end up finding some in Australia?

I know this thread is months old now, but how did you guys go getting OoO? When I asked a naturopath about it, he told me it is never sold in Australia for internal use as it (and many other essential oils) are class A poisons here. Not sure if he's right but it makes sense since it simply doesn't exist in capsule form for sale in Australia. He suggested using grapefruit seed extract or olive leaf extract instead which do seem to be available here.

Anyway, if any of you guys had success ordering it and taking it, please post!

Emma

i did order it but it was an essentail oil and i wasn't prepared to ingest it! also, i haven't yet seen any controlled studies that show evidence of its safety or efficacy so i didn't bother looking for it in ingestable form. i am losing the weight anyway through eating good food and exercise. a bit more exercise might help though!

Thanks Ozgirl, looks like we have the same concerns about eating something that's sold as an oil for your oil burner

I'm going to try the grapefruit seed extract as I have lots of the symptoms of systemic yeast problems and have had for years. A lot of people say getting rid of these problems can clear up skin "allergies" too so it's worth a shot for me, even though I am still losing fine.

Em
