Default Any scale-a-holics out there

Hi, Does anyone constantly weigh themselves?
I am totally obsessed. Every morning, without fail. with clothes,
without clothes, before tinkle, after tinkle, you name it, I do it.
I know, once a week is ideal, but fess up. Who can wait that long.
You can if you cheated and you know you gained. Im at a plateu right now
after losing 26 pounds. It's driving me insane! Any scale stories out there?
Oh and I have a cat that likes to put her front paws on the scale in back of
me while Im weighing myself.

I'm a scale junkie also.... Does anyone want to do a challenge???? No Scale till Memorial day? When I see I haven't lost as much as I think I should..... It's depressing. SO........ I'm game to stay off of it for awhile. But it wouldn't be fun without some buddies to do it with.

I am soo I scale junkie!
The original poster could have been me...
I like to weigh each and every time I pee...
I have been known to take my clothes off in the middle of the day just so I can weigh without them on.
I weigh pre and post shower to see what effect a shower has on weight..
I am an addict!

That being said... I weighed recently and it is my TOM, I will never do that again! I nearly had a heart attack. All the losses of the past week have dissappeared although I have not cheated.

I will not weigh again no matter what until TOM has left the body.

i am still too dependent on the scale. i know that it's not a good thing, but it keeps me honest. i know that whatever i might eat, it's going to have an affect on the scale, so knowing that i am going to way keeps me on my toes. i caught myself kind of creeping up a little each day and after about 3 or 4 months, there were a few extra pounds, so i went back to induction til they were gone.....i just couldn't go without my scale!

I had my bf take it and hide it somewhere. I weighed every morning then I plateaued after 27.5 pounds. So I'm taking a 2 week break from it.

I have 2 scales, one that works with batteries and the other doesn't need batteries so it's for when the batteries are dead on the other one.

I weigh myself every morning, twice to make sure it's accurate. Then I weigh after each meal to see how much a meal puts on ya. Then after my bath before I go to bed.

I'm a total scale addict.

Me me me! I am on the scale every morning. I am too chicken to weigh any other time.

However, I've just pledged to stay off the scale until my official weigh day, so no more scale until Thursday.

Totally a scale freak here. Usually only first thing in the morning, but if I've been exceptionally good, I'll weigh at night and if it's down a little I'm thinking to myself "HEY, if it's at THIS right now, imagine what it'll be in the morning!"

I'm TRYING to break myself of this, and haven't weighed for a few days. Going to try sundays as my day to weigh. I could never make it til memorial day

I have even weighed myself in the middle of the night! I weigh everyday. I'm ok with it though. I know when it's just a little water weight or if I have really gained or lost a pound or two. If I weighed in only once a week, I would be more depressed if it wasn't telling me what I think it should. At least this way if I'm up 3 pounds I know I didn't gain that much fat in a day. I have a pretty good handle on what is really going on. The weight I post is my low weight. We all know it jumps around daily and I would hate to miss the low for the week because I didn't weigh in.

I tend to be a daily weigher. It think it's okay as long as you don't take it too seriously. If it upsets you, why torture yourself?

I try to just use it to keep myself accountable.

OMG...me too! Usually every morning and night and sometimes during the day when I find myself in the potty room with the scale. I feel like it is a pet and I should give it a name!!

How about this...

Weighing, weighing, all the time,
The task is always on my mind.
Will the scale read high or low,
'Gotta check so I will know!
If I've been bad, the scale will tell,
If I've been good, you'll hear me yell!!
Have a great LC day!
