Nawchem...

You've come too far to turn back now... Have you tried the Shiratake noodles?
My new spin on comfort food is Mac n Cheese made with the shiratake macaroni. Or the spinach fettacine smothered in Ghee with lots of parmesan.

My weight went up a pound but I had a can of chicken broth and nearly a can of corn beef. That's a lot of sodium. Or I'm having that weird body adjustment thing where your body tries to hold on.

I'm freezing cold from lowering my carbs, that tells me things are happening inside!

I'm still 187.5 but my weigh in weight is in the evening so I'm really higher.

Trying the cream, Nawchem. Wish me luck everyone.
I dropped 4 pounds almost. Now if the rest would just go away. I have a feeling that's going to stick around a little longer despite what I want.

Default oodles of noodles

Nawchem it's so simple I'm not even sure it can be called a recipe

...so you prepare the shirataki spinach fettucine according to instructions on packet. Add a dollop of ghee and cover with parmesan cheese. The green plastic shaker from Kraft works really well to soak up the ghee.

You can go crazy and add some crushed garlic or some EVOO with truffles and even a grinding of Italian spices and some cherry tomatoes.

Less than 5c for a small mountain of comfort food

I hope you get some relief. I put it a small dab on my eyelid, although it seems to work just as well where ever. I was thinking about you yesterday. I reading that sjogerns sp? is sometimes diagnosed as lupus and that it ends up taking a long time getting the diagnosis. I'm studying medical technology for the laboratory. Sjogerns got a whole sentence, lupus 25 pages, thyroid disease nothing.

Good job 4lbs, you're almost there.

Trying the cream, Nawchem. Wish me luck everyone.

Yes they're getting quite popular, but what's not to love...
0 carbs, 0 calories, 0 everything except soluble fibre and probiotics.
It's easier just to order them on-line. I get mine from Jet or Thrive Market

NSV: I seem to be carb adapted. Not freezing cold and exhausted. No digestive problems. Feel a lot more chipper. I had class for 6 hours straight and never got hungry or tired without eating. I used to stop at 7/11 on the way home from school and get junk food because I felt weak and tired from this schedule.

New low!! How great it is to actually lose weight over the holidays.

It's so great to not be a slave to food anymore isn't it?
Congrats on the NSV. And did you say you are at a new low? Fantastic!
The cream isn't really helping my eyes any yet so far, but it's certainly helping with the water retention. Sjogren's takes an average of 7 years to get a diagnosis! The ophthalmologist suggested it as a possibility. That's the only reason I knew about it at all.

jess,

I'm hoping something is going to work for your eyes. Losing water is a good thing, I forgot that happened with me too. I don't know how long it took me to notice that my eyes weren't bothering me. Then I googled it and saw a pubmed study had found it was an effective treatment.

I made my Jan 1st goal, so I upped my goal to lose 10 lbs by Jan 1.

2 weeks ago tonight I joined TOPS, after the weigh in I ate 3 candy bars and later had nachos.

1 week ago after the weighing I had a taco salad.

Tonight my treat is pork rinds and cheese sauce and I'm completely satisfied and still on plan!

Roommate made a christmas display out of chocolate candies. I haven't had the slightest interest in eating it!!

I'm sticking to the plan, wts the same.

Told my friend how glad I am that I didn't wait until Jan 1st. The worst is behind me now.

Thinking about my celebration food after finals, all my fantasy foods were on plan!
