Default Why would I eat my exersize??

Im curious why, in my case MyFitnessPal, would it add-on my exersize deficit to my daily limits of food consumption. I've googled it, and found some heated debates on it on boards here and there, but no-one gives facts there. It's all "my way or the highway" and talk about "LUNKS" geeze....anyways, my goal is fat-burn, toning, and to be more fit and of course to have a better healthier attitude. I don't "eat my exersize" but why on earth would you? Is there a theory behind this?

I speculate that they add the deficit amount/decrementing from your ingested calories because of the calorie in/calorie out "standard."
I disagree with calorie in/calorie out theories. I think there is much more 'to it' than that, but there are some (probably the majority, actually) who live and die by the concept.
I'd given using MFP thought, but hate tracking in more than one place. Can the "feature" be turned off? If it can't, I'd probably find that "feature" annoying, too.

Well, exercise as a means to losing weight isn't a very good one. I'd go more for health, muscle building than trying to create a calorie deficit, especially since many people have a metabolic slow-down with intense cardio (Phinney/Volek).

That's my opinion. Exercise doesn't do much for me for weight loss. Good for my health, but that's it.

Guess what? Know one really knows the facts. It is all individual, based on your genetics. Science doesn't always have all the answers (yet).

Nothing I do is intense cardio....if it was I wouldn't do it LMAO. I didn't even make it 30-days with Jillian (OOPSIE). But am loving my walks and my yoga. I will "ignore" the congratulations you have earned another meal to eat because you exersized today" when I push the button. Speaking of which....time to do some "real" yoga and then get out in this beautiful day.
