Breaking fast tomorrow morning. Wanted to try some protein at the end of fast. Did some pushups today on the wall. Ken, I'm really excited for you. I've had the urge a couple times to start jogging when walking. Usually I'm around people so I"m a little shy about it. On my skateboard however, I get a few chances a session to have to hop on a run if something is going wrong.
I think you'll be supprised how quickly your feet are going to be able to move under you. I'm not near where I was 10 years ago but there's a HUGE difference between yesterday and when I started keto over 5 months ago. I don't worry about the scale but these physical things ARE affected by mass. You and I are not kids anymore but I think your body is going to supprise the hell out of you by what it can do. Let it and be amazed
Since I'm doing so much yaking, I'll toss this out too. My brother has a couple cheap paddleboards. He's showing interest in getting a "good" one and likes this:
http://star-board-sup.com/2016/boar...32-freeride-xl/ I have a Starboard Avati that I was using last year (you can see that in my profile I think) The freeride looks like an awesome board, PLUS with the AST modle it comes with a spot or two where you can hook a WINDSRUFING rig up to it. I did this last year on my board twice and had the time of my life. I cried the first time I was able to sail again after 10 years but I had to wipe the tears quick because it was kind of choppy
If you are interested in windsurfing and have some flat water or even ocean near by, on of the paddle boards would be an excellent addition to your exersize routine and all around fun ness factor. I plan on doing a lot more crusing around next year with a sail. no worries on getting up on a plane yet, so much fun just splunking around. If you are out in hood river on vacation you can probably rent one for the day and go down to the event center near the sandbar. Plenty of shallow, slow moving water to play around it. Your kids would flip out too if they like water and swimming.
Have a great weekend Ken!
