Default "Meat points" icons?

Hi, and thank you so much for this board! It's got everything I wanted to know and sooooo much more (that I didn't know I didn't know!).

I wonder if any vegetarians besides me are kind of grossed out by the "meat points" icons? I actually thought of making sure I stop my posts at 40 so I don't have to have a chicken leg (an amputated limb!) or a steak (don't even want to think about that) by my name.

Also, until I clicked to make sure, I thought the icons indicated whether someone was ovo-veg (egg cup), no-red-meat (chicken leg), some red meat (one steak), lots of meat (multiple steaks). That would be an interesting item to have on the visible profiles -- I know it would help me find other vegetarians' posts quickly, since we do post to threads other than the special vegetarian sub-forum.

Thanks!

We do welcome low-carbing vegetarians, and respect their choices, whatever their reasons.

However, if someone is really "grossed out" by the mere mention, or image of meat, I doubt they'll ever feel comfortable on our forum, and they're most likely to be grossed out by the many of the posts, and the posters in this forum.

Those icons (which we've had for a few of years) are meant as a symbolic form of progression in the hunter-gatherer scale, which will eventually conclude by the image of a caveman or a cavewoman. It's symbolic, and not meant to be taken too seriously, or to be measured for political correctness. In addition, an image of a vegetable just won't fit this pattern
