I returned to '72 Induction yesterday. I'll do this for a week and see how it works for me.

Decided to get out some clothes I couldn't get into to see if they fit now..wooooohoooo.... I can now give away the clothes that are too big for me. I've lost so many inches I can't believe I can fit into these clothes.

Woooohoooo Kisal and Pam !!!!!

I am doing 72 induction too!! I had upped my carbs this last week and after eating some delicious apples I got cravings for more so I need to get rid of those. Hopefully I will be able to get my calories back down below 1400 so I can start losing again.

Good luck everyone!!

I am failing miserably, quite frankly!

I know I would lose if I could just get my calories down to below 1400 but at night I keep nibbling. The good news is I am still eating on plan food.....well except those sf chocolate chunkies

At least I know what I am doing wrong, I just cant seem to stop!

I have been considering going into maintenance mode until the holidays are over and then give it my all after the first of the year. I think this is a really logical and good idea for the most part, but there is some part of me that just doesnt want to do this. I guess its the part that wants to lose weight. But if I keep sabatoging myself that gets very frustrating and I dont want to make the same mistake I made last year by totally frustrating myself and then giving up and then regaining everything. grrrrr!!

Hi, hon!

JMO, but I don't think you should stop losing and just try to maintain over the holidays. It seems like a dangerous proposition to me. I think, if you allow yourself to think that all you have to do is maintain, you will be that much more inclined to think "Just one bit won't hurt." The trouble with that is, if you allow yourself to have even small amounts of treats made with flour and sugar, your cravings will come back, and you won't be able to get back on plan. Well, that's my opinion, anyway.

BTW, I don't mean to say that you shouldn't allow yourself any treats over the holidays, only that it can be dangerous to get into the "maintenance" mindset before you get near your goal.

WOOOHOOOO!!!!

That's so friggin cool!

I made it down to 174 yesterday. I was *really* hoping I'd see 173 today and be at goal... but, alas, it wasn't meant to be. Still at 174 today, so here's hoping that maybe, possibly tomorrow I can claim goal. Man, it's so close I can taste it! (Tastes like steak... )

Well, I'm back up to 238.8, but the gain wasn't totally unexpected, considering that I've really eaten a lot over the past 2 days.

I am returning to A72 induction today after crashing and burning at a tweaking attempt involving meat and egg, then increased fat. So here I am, up 5 lbs. from my low of 176 (today I was 182) and feeling really lost and desperate. I could use a pep talk if anyone could help.
