OMG, I just found my new favorite thread. This is truly hilarious. Swhite, you are both patient and hilarious - and sweetly evil.
Ever see Little Britain? There's a sketch they do called "Fat Fighters". Mama hen is so reminding me of the Fat Fighters group leader...lemme see what google turns up:
Oh, I haven't seen the supermarket one, but I LOVE Little Brittain, and particularly Fat Fighters. Makes me wanna pee my pants laughing, especially since it so closely resembles WW people I know!
Ok, I'm downstairs at the grill waiting for my order of roasted chicken and collard greens. Guess who comes and picks up an order of 12pc hot wings and potato wedges!!!?!?! UNBELIEVABLE!!....I couldnt hold my tongue on this guys!...I had to say something!...lol....I said to her, "Man that looks good. Maybe I should try WW since it allows hotwings and potatoe wedges! How many points will that be?...she responds(while trying to hurry up and get away from me).."I'm not sure. I haven't calculated it yet. It shouldnt be much though. Besides I have some extra points to splurge with. I see you are eating quite healthy today. Keep it up! Enjoy your lunch!"......and she walks off really fast!...LOL....OMG!! This is cracking me up!!!
And I'm so sneaky..I had to check and see where she went to eat....shes not at her desk or in the dining room..shes hiding!....LOL.....amazing!
This is PRICELESS!!! I love your quickness and sense of humor! Funny thing about WW people is they all do this stuff cause they're STARVING!!!
Seriously! I've been there. WW makes you plan your day down to the last slice of cucumber. I would prepare my day's meals on the super low or free points just because I knew I would come home and binge! Duh. Counterintuitive much?

I've been enjoying this too! Swhite, thumbs up on your comments to her at the work cafe. I'll bet you were as sweet and nice as anything, too!
I've joined WW three times over the past 30 years. Every time I was hungry, my stomach was acting up, and I got sick with head colds. I'm back with low-carb now, and loving it.

just FYI, The points on that meal is (drum roll Please) 36 points for the chicken wings, Potato wedges is 5 points for a small serving....whatever that is. So at the very least that is 41 points. Now depending on her size she can be allowed any where from 17 to 44 points per day plus an extra 35 to spend per week. My guess by being the oldest and feeling the need to monitor her weight she is probably closer to 20 points per day. Not a whole heck of a lot of food. She blew her whole weekly extra and then some on one lunch....No wonder she isn't losing.
Next time she comments on your food, Smile and ask if she enjoyed her lunch the other day.

Or better yet, smile and say "You must really be keeping tabs on your meals. You used 40 points the other day (say this louder so everyone else can hear) with the chicken wings and potatoe wedges." That should keep her from you for a tad.
But really I just felt for the poor thing when I read that last story. Trying to do what she's been told all her life and failing so miserably. Doomed to failure by misinformation. Ah, well, watch gonna do...
