Default ROTFL! You wont believe this!

Ok, I'm downstairs at the grill waiting for my order of roasted chicken and collard greens. Guess who comes and picks up an order of 12pc hot wings and potato wedges!!!?!?! UNBELIEVABLE!!....I couldnt hold my tongue on this guys!...I had to say something!...lol....I said to her, "Man that looks good. Maybe I should try WW since it allows hotwings and potatoe wedges! How many points will that be?...she responds(while trying to hurry up and get away from me).."I'm not sure. I haven't calculated it yet. It shouldnt be much though. Besides I have some extra points to splurge with. I see you are eating quite healthy today. Keep it up! Enjoy your lunch!"......and she walks off really fast!...LOL....OMG!! This is cracking me up!!!

And I'm so sneaky..I had to check and see where she went to eat....shes not at her desk or in the dining room..shes hiding!....LOL.....amazing!

This gets better everyday!

Okay, I don't know what annoys me more... the fact that she would tell you how to eat, or the fact that she can look at a fatty meal like that and think that switching to egg whites would make it acceptable for WW! LOL! I tried WW and while I did lose some weight and eat more veggies I had to beat myself up over every drop of oil or ounce of cheese! I don't have that kind of will power! I want food dammit!

Oh this is moving into a whole new level of Evil.

I can see you slipping into HER office every morning and quizzing her on HER menu choices! Just find the one thing on her plate that you can exagerate into a feast and focus on that, saying how good WW must be if you can have danish or toast or whatever is "high points" that you see.

"Oh that looks good, no wonder WW is working so well for you. Now how many points are in that BBQ sauce?"

Let her worry about you coming around for a turn.

Yeah, I also think Splenda is the lesser of two evils... though I have a habit of switching back and forth just to be safe.

I just want to second that aspartame/equal tears my stomach up. I have quit using Splenda too. I'm using Stevia. It's a plant. Depending on your store, you may be able to get it in a grocery store. Down here Publix carries it. I think Winn Dixie does too. But, any Health Food Store will. I use the packets, you can also get it in drops. I have to admit it took me some getting used to as it has a slight liqurice flavor. I use the one with inulin (fiber) and it tastes just fine.

In the SweetLeaf SteviaPlus it's not noticable to me anymore. Really. I've also used it in my homemade jello recipe because I can't find a commercial one without aspartame.. And I'm pretty picky with my taste. The powder isn't bad either. One thing, if you use too much it's nasty. Once I learned that; it was okay. I had kept adding more expecting to reach the almost sugar taste. (southern, fed sweet tea in bottle ) And it would just be nasty. It doesn't taste quite as sweet as Splenda, but I got used to it after a few times. The not quite as sweet, I really don't notice the licorice taste. (Sorry, my mozilla is on the blink and my explorer has hidden my spell check ) I feel like it actually helps me with sweet cravings as long as I don't give in when my DH wants to go to Sonic or DairyQueen, or order the Blondie in Applebee's. (and he really does want me to lose weight, he just doesn't want to eat dessert alone )

Oh! I just got some stevia plants! I'll probably put them in pots tomorrow. The leaf is quite sweet (there were some old brown ones on the plants). I only use sweetner with my coffee (mostly) so my plan is to make ground stevia leaves to throw in the brewer as I make my cup.

OMG, I just found my new favorite thread. This is truly hilarious. Swhite, you are both patient and hilarious - and sweetly evil.

Ever see Little Britain? There's a sketch they do called "Fat Fighters". Mama hen is so reminding me of the Fat Fighters group leader...lemme see what google turns up:
