I started on low carb yesterday but I did not eat any vegetables. Do you have to eat vegetables? I ate just meat and eggs. Is there a certain vitamin I need to take?

It depends on what plan you are following, Atkins, South Beach Diet, Protein Power etc. Each plan is different in what it recommends you eat and portions thereof. Have you read any books on the subject and are leaning toward something?

Some day I eat veggies and some days I don't. If I don't want them on a particular day, I don't eat them. The key to this WOL for me is that I'm going to eat what I want, on the days I want it, and conversely, I'm NOT going to eat what I don't want. It works out well for me. After a day or 2, I'm always ready for my salads and veggies again. Don't sweat it. I take a women's multi, when I remember to, which is about twice a week.

Most plans recommend a vitamin. A good multivitamin is ok for most. Most plans recommend low carb veggies. Have you decided which one you are going to go on? I know in another thread you mentioned Kimkins. Whatever plan you decide on, read the book (or the threads in the case of Kimkins). If you try Kimkins, I still recommend you read one of Dr. Atkins books ('72 or '92 is best if you are doing Kimkins) so you can understand how these diets work.

If you start to log your foods in the My P.L.A.N. section of this board or at www.fitday.com you can see what amounts of vitamins and minerals etc you are eating in the food you choose and decide if you need to supplement these with pills.

At first I ate a salad everyday then got burned out on salads. I do try to eat veggies everyday just because they have vitamins in them. Plus they fill me up quickly but its whatever you like to eat. Good luck.
