Default fat fast works yeah

hey just for you all the fat fast worked. tried it for 4 days and lost 8 pounds. i was at a stall no inches lost no weight lost and it just kicked it right up. i have a water retention problem anyway, and this did the trick on that also. i need to go by new shoes. mine just keep slopping around on my feet. it says to do it for 5 days, but i am back to the regular lc today and am feeling great.

everyone keep up the great work

Good for you!
I think it makes complete sense that it works, reduce calories, up fat, thats how I have lost all along. Did you stay at 1000 calories? And did you work out at all?
And congrats again!

This is day 5, and I have lost 5 lbs, which I think is great! There are threads on the "tips and stalls" forum for more info. Also check out www.atkinscenter.com and type in fat fast in the search engine. Good luck!

i ate 2 eggs with 2 tsp of mayo, 2 ounces of tuna with 2 tsp of mayo in 1/4 of avacado, chicken with 2 tsp of mayo with 1/4 of avacado and 8 glasses of water a day. you can eat these up to five times a day says you should eat every 4 hours. you can also have 2 oz of cream cheese, or whip cream with splenda sweetened syrup. it doesnt seem like much, but with eating and drinking it seemed like all day i was fine. i didnt do much exercise besides walking.

I take one egg and mix in 1 tablespoon of mayo, it tastes kinda gross though. I really try to make sure as many calories come from fat as possible.

I am going to be doing the fat fast when I return from up north this weekend. I have been cheat free & in ketosis for 57 days and have only lost 6 1/2 total pounds. I received the results from all my blood work and everything is in working order. I do cardio & weight training 6 days a week. I will post how it is going.....

You really have to understand that FAT FAST gives you very MINIMAL meals (pour 2 oz of water into your measuring cup - or get one of those VERY SMALL gladlock containers) that is 2 oz!!! You really need to stay out of the kitchen on FF - unless you are having you FF snacks (Dr. A. doesn't claim they are to be considered meals) READ what he says about them being DANGEROUS for anyone who is not metabolically resistant.

Here is both the FF and the Modified FF list of food ideas. I don't lose UNLESS I am doing MFF---so definately metabolically resistant. We MFF - do 3-4 days of fasting and then move cautiously into owl.

Fat Fast Meal ideas (mini-snacks )
*One ounce macadamia nuts or macadamia nut butter
*Two ounces cream cheese or Brie
*One ounce of tuna or chicken salad with 2 t mayo served in one quarter of an avocado
*Two devilled eggs made with 2 t mayonnaise

Jan,

How does the MFF differ from FF? Are you eating more calories? And if so, in what proportions? (i.e. fat/protein/carbs ratio)

Val
