Ok to take Metformin and Yasmin?

Hi,

This is my first post to the forum.

I have PCOS and I'm having a *very* hard time losing weight (I'm doing Atkins, doing Curves 3X a week, and walking for 20-30 min 3 to 6 times a week). Need to lose approx. 70 lbs.

My next dr.'s appt. isn't for several months, but I am curious about Metformin. Does anyone know if you can take Met with Yasmin BCP? I've been on Yasmin for about 2 years. I really like it and would like to stay on it if I can.
