Default TDC September Challenge

This challenge is for anyone out there. Feel free to join us or just to chime in from time to time. All are welcome.

We all have a lifelong issue to contend with. For the sake of our sanity, let's break it into smaller pieces. This piece is September 2009.

What are your goals for the month? How do you plan to accomplish them?

Let's offer each other support and ideas, vent our frustrations, and share our accomplishments.

I wish you all a great September 2009.

September is here, I can't believe it!

Here are my stats (loss from 8/01 stats)

9/01/09
Weight: 200.4 (-12.3lbs)
Chest: 46" (-2.5")
Left Bicep: 13" (-.25")
Waist: 39.25" (-2.25")
Hips: 46" (-1.75")
Left Thigh: 23" (-1.5")

My weight has been fluctuating between 200 and 200.4 the past few days. My body doesn't seem to want to let me get to ONEderland (ugh!) I lost 12.3lbs and a total of 8.25" this month!

With my body not cooperating at the moment I am giving myself a smaller goal this month. My September goal is to lose 5.4lbs, which would bring me to my next mini goal of 195 (HS weight). We also just signed our son up for Tae Kwon Do, so my other goal is to walk him to class at least 2x per week.

Ending weight: 282


Bust: 51.5 - 52.5 (new bra)
Waist: 46 - 46
Hips: 56 - 55
R Thigh 32 -31
L Thigh 31.5 - 30
R Arm 15.5 -15.5
L Arm 15.25 - 15

Starting weight September 1 - 280
Naturally I lost 2 more lbs since the August challenge is over!

Goal for September: 270

I'm in for this month. I want to be at 250 by December 5th, so that gives me 14 weeks to lose 50 more. I need to lose an average of 3.57 per week. It will be hard, but I think it's doable.

Is it really 14 weeks until Christmas?! Oh my goodness!

I'm in. My August stats ended with:
8/31 275.4
TOTAL LOSS: 10.1 lbs

Of course the scale had to annoy me and go up today a bit (276.2). Gotta watch that cheese at night! My body hates it and refuses to give it up.

September goals:
Weight 265 (loss of 11.2 lbs)
Walk 5000 steps a day, increase each week
Drink 100-160 oz water a day (WATER, not something else)
Start doing 3 new exercises 3x a week

Hi Y'all here is what happened in Aug and what I will be posting the start of Sept.:
Starting Weight: 331.6 ending 324.0 (-7.6lbs)
chest:48.5 46.5 (-2")
waist:48.5 44.25 (-4.25")
stomach:57.5 53.5 (-4")
hips/butt: 54.5 52.0 (-2.5")
upper arms:18.0 15.75 (-2.25")
upper legs: 28.5 25.5 (-3.")
Total inches loss (can we double the inches on the arms & legs...there are 2 of each right .....18 inches

Not the greatest of losses but not the worst either.
Goals will be:
1. 8lbs or more. I want to see at least the mid teens
2. Size jeans tight 20: I literally have at least 2 of each size
down to a size 14,lol.
3. Mo water, mo water, mo water..started in July not drinking water plain unless I had absolutely nothing else. Now doing 96 oz most days.
4.Less lc treats..believe it has caused some stalling
5. Increase movement walking.. whatever

I am in again. I will try to be more vocal. =)

I ended at 258...this morning it read 255.2! I am not believing it though. So...I will say 256.5 for a happy medium. =)

Gym 4-5 days/week. (3 include weights)

be more organized about dinners (more planning)

Let's go! I have also been thinking of taking this weight loss by the 10's....so losing 10x10.

I'm in for September. I loved being about of this group last month. I think it really helps stay motivated when you are responsible to report to people on your progress.

Finally broke my lowest weight barrier today. I have not been able to get lower than 321.4 in almost 2 two weeks. This morning 320.4, not far from teens and 1.6 lbs from the 20lb mark. This is huge for me. It will be the most weight I would of have lost in over 9 yrs. Doing the happy dance
