Default "cheating"?

im not going to do this, im just curious. if u take a fiber supplement, that gives u say 50g's of fiber a day, can u eat 70g's of carbs and still be considered in induction? of course, this is unrealistic because you're have to eat like 20 cups of broccoli and another 40 cups of salad to even get up to 70 grams, but i was just wonderin what ya'll thought about it.

The fiber has to be deducted from the carbs in question for "net carbs" to work. I can't eat 20 grams of fiber to make up for the 20 grams of chocolate I eat with it.

I don't think it really works that way, but I've been known to be wrong once

As far as I've been led to understand, fibre supplements are used to keep you regular, not give you some "free ticket" to consume more carbs.

NO.
BTW when you cheat you only cheat the one that counts the most.
YOU.
Induction is for converting your metabolism to Lipolsys (burning fat instead of carbs) Eating Franken Foods discounts your weight loss, and does not tell you how resistant to weight loss your body is. Inductions should be done clean so YOU know how your body reacts to LC.

I think you are confusing th role of fibre in net carbs.
My understanding - and I could be wrong - is that normal carb counts include fibre (because it is made up up of what is left when protein and fat are subtracted form the total). To get a realistic carb count you subtract fibre.

No, it doesn't work that way. You can subtract fibre from the total carbs because your body doesn't absorb fibre. Fibre is included in the total carb count to begin with, per labelling laws. It's not like fibre is an eraser for carbs, or that it counteracts the carbs in something. It's part of the total, but you can back it out because it isn't absorbed...
