Question La-Tortilla

Hello, I just tried those low-carb tortillas tonight, I actually found them in a local grocery store, it was just the wheat ones but they were pretty good. So good infact I ate 2 of them
I had only planned to eat one but made tacos with them and couldnt help it and went for 2, they have 3 grams of active carbs in them. I'm still trying to stay under 20 carbs a day or around there so for the day I'm still ok. But my question is are these one of those products that can make you stall or hinder your weight loss? I guess I will just have to experiment with them and see if they cause me and stall. I have been on the Atkins for just over a month and have lost quite a bit so far so I want to stay on track. But these were a nice treat. Maybe I should just make them once a week or something? Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Corey

Smile Really

Ship them on out! ha-ha Yeah I have to admit the were not awesome but just a bit of a change, probally more pshycological than anything else. Which ones did you try? I had the wheat ones, but did you try the Garlic and Herb? I heard those were not too bad? I tried the Atkins Bread a few days ago and was not too impressed with that either. I guess I should just stick to the real foods but it is nice to try things out. Was it you that said that the keto-cocoa was really good? I thought I had seen a post from you on that? I might have to try that too

Thanks,
Corey

Default Stalling

I would be most interested in the results of your experiment in stalling. Those tortillas sound interesting if they don't cause problems. I am too determined not to do anything to slow my weight loss, to experiment myself.

Good Luck!

I would say no, they won't stall weight loss unless you have some kind of intolerance to any of the ingredients, especially wheat. If you find yourself having to eat them everyday, it could indicate an intolerance (or an addiction) and I'd stop eating them.

I like them b/c the high fiber content seems to help me with false hunger. In fact, I would eat them even if I weren't doing LC b/c I've always eaten whole grains anyway. But I always fry them a bit before eating them.

Enjoy,
Wanda

Default AHHHH My Savior!!! Low Carb Tortillas!

I found these little gems at the grocery store and they have only 3 net carbs! 12 carbs - 9 grams fiber each tortilla.

They actually taste good too. Finally I can wrap my meat in something. I was getting pretty sick of eating lunch meat with a fork

They are good. We have them for Fajitas all the time. And also the occasional wrap.

Thanks for the info!! I plan to order some. Have you tried the other flavors, like green onion and garlic herb? I was thinking of ordering a variety pack.

I love these too! I bought the burrito sized ones and I cut them in half.

Thumbs up

Thanks for the product update. Sometimes I want to try something but sure don't want to waste money if it doesn't taste good. I wonder if you could use faux rice etc to make a wrap!!!
