Default Dannon "Carb Control" yogurt

Greetings from "low carb hiatus" pregnant Lilly,

My nutritionist has been bugging me to get in more dairy, and suggested yogurt, so after scoping out the various brands, low and behold I saw Dannon Light and Fit Carb Control yogurt.

Its a very small cup (comes in packs of four) and it came in a few flavors. I chose vanilla cream and its pretty good.

Only 3 grams of carbs.
Just wanted to share a new low carb product I found.

Happy successful low carbing. I'll be back with a vengence once I pop these kiddos out!

P.S. I just found the web site for the product:
http://www.dannon.com/products/ligh...carbcontrol.php

Oh, thank you so much for sharing this! My daughter eats yogurt everyday for breakfast and this will be much better for her.

I did a search on the Dannon site and none of the stores near me carry it yet. So I just sent an email to Kroger asking them to order it.

I am so happy that there are more and more products available! Yippee!

yeah...that's true to form with Dannon....when I lived in the Chicago area in the 1980's...I bought a lot of Dannon yogurt. In 1985, when I moved back to Oregon, Dannon was NOWHERE....I had to settle for other yogurt. I had to wait a few years before I started finding Dannon on the shelves here. Everything Dannon seems to start on the East coast...and slowly moves here...the West, if we're lucky....

Yes, there are two growing in there. YIKES! Thanks for all your well wishes! I'll be back with a vengence on these boards soon!

I MISS totally low carbing, but am still using low carb products such as this yogurt.

Homepride just introduced a low carb white and wheat bread. 10net carbs per serving, which isnt very good considering arnolds wheat only has 6.

I miss yogurt! (pout!) Everywhere I go it's low fat/sugarfree (with a zillion carbs) or zero fat, etc. I'd love to find a lc yogurt to eat with my lc granola. Thanks for the product info. I'm going to see if my grocer would put in a special order as they stock other dannon products.

I bought the peach flavor - it's pretty good! It's not yogurt, though, it's "Cultured Dairy Snack" according to the packaging; there must be something about it that makes it not technically yogurt.

Hood is supposed to be coming out with low carb yogurt in the near future, too.
