Hi lovelyld, welcome to the forum!

Thicken Thin products (Not Starch and Not Sugar) aren't available any more as the company, Expert Foods, went out of business a few years ago.
However, there's a similar product called Thick It Up, from Dixie Diners' Club .. you can order it directly from them.

Those low-carb thickener powders are basically a blend of several gums/fibers, including xanthan gum. A lot of folks have had satisfactory results using xanthan alone .. and it's less expensive. You can probably buy xanthan gum at a local health food store, or most large grocery stores with a gluten-free section will have it. One brand to look for is Bob's Red Mill; there are others.

Here's a discussion about using xanthan gum (and guar) you might find helpful http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthread.php?t=422778

hth,

Doreen

My local Kroger sells Bob's Red Mill xanthan gum. If you have a Kroger/Fred Meyer in your area, you can probably find it there.

You can get "Thick it Up" and xanthan gum on Amazon, too. I just searched "low carb thickener" and they were in the first few results.
