Default Fiber

A lot of diets sress the importance of fiber and reccomend eating fiber filled foods. Is it ok to use somethin gliek Benefiber, i want to try it but i'm not sure if i should or if it would be the small as eating foods that have natural fiber.

Hi!
I'm not sure about that product you mentioned but I will say that one of the things I use to make sure I'm getting enough healthy fibre is flax. We can buy it very inexpensively at either the health food store or even our regular grocery store. We grind it up in the coffee grinder and store it in the fridge freezer. You can put it in tons of stuff...for example I sprinkle it into my omelettes and salads. It is also very healthy stuff to eat from everything I hear!

I think the general idea behind fiber is to maintain healthy and clean innards. I also think fiber is fiber, whether it comes from beans or flax or cellulose. But I'm not a nutritionist.
