Default Newbie looking for a buddy

Hi, I've been on Atkins induction for 3 weeks now, although the first week I made a lot of mistakes. I'm looking for a weight loss buddy who would like to message daily. If you're interested, let me know!

I would love to have a buddy to check in with daily. I started low carbing the day after Christmas. I have lost between 2-3 sizes. Still have a long way to go.

Hi! Would love to join this circle. Started in March, but restarting induction tomorrow (4/17) since I've had a couple issues with phantom carbs and went off Atkins for last two days. Would like to share the journey!

Default 40 Day on Induction

Hi there,

I am returning after making some errors on the maintenance part of the program. I too am looking for a buddy to chat with daily. I am determined to change my lifestyle for good. Realizing I am extremely carb sensitive. I am following Atkins, however with plans to stay on induction during my entire weight loss period. Hope we can chat soon.

Hello,
I have been on a low carb plan since the day after Christmas. I . am doing really well. But there are times when I get a bit discouraged. I have chosen not to weigh myself and at times I question if it is working. I have lost between 2-3 sizes. I really like low carbing as it gives me a calm feeling. It takes away the the anxiety that goes along with cravings. My biggest concern is I get a bit bored with the food. Always intested in recipes or new ideas. Robyn congrats on your 12 days

To 4debb;I know I need support, for the ups and downs. Slow but sure seems to be the way, so you need help, to complain, to celebrate, to laugh or cry, I will be your buddy, together we've got this!

Thanks for the congrats, but I think you are the one to be congratulated, 2/3 sizes , wow that is great, slow but sure, if you're weren't doing this lifestyle, would you be 1 size up perhaps? Get creative and experiment, there are sooo many LCD recepies now, there is no need to be bored, planing is key though.

Hi Robynsnest
I am looking forward to our journey. Being new to posting I am sure to make some mistakes. However I want you to know that I am here for you and with you all the way. Today I weighed myself and started to see some progress (down 0.6 lbs) that was after my slip on Easter Day. Valuable lesson learned...one day binge is really not worth it! lol.

I look at it this way, even staying the same is a victory. At least staying the same, as frustrating as it may be is not gaining! Good luck tomorrow.

Started walking 20 minutes/day. It seems to be working down 0.4 today. Next plan is to increase water intake (which I am horrible at) Robyn stick with it. Good luck everyone!
